MC Authority Letter is a document issued by the FMCSA that certifies that your authority has been granted and all insurance and process agent requirements have been met. All Motor Carriers must keep a copy of their certificate inside their CMV at all times.
The FMCSA sends your Certificate of Authority once your authority has been granted and your authority is active.
